    1997 Chevrolet S-10 SS.  Approx. 130,000 miles on the block.  4.3L, 262ci, V-6.  5 speed manual.  This has mainly been set up for either autocross or circuit racing.  Since it’s my daily driver, I’ve never actually taken it on the track.  I’m the second owner.  I’ve never had any problems with it other than wear and tear items.  It’s well maintained and still gets good gas mileage.  If you want a turn-key race car that gets noticed everywhere, than this is the truck for you.

    – I haven’t modified the actual motor at all (which is why it still runs so well).  Stage 2 Intake (ram air, K&N filter).  Stage 2 Exhaust (Gibson headers, hand-made muffler, 2.5 “ pipes, quad tips) Stage 1 Ignition (Optima battery, Granitelli wires, MSD coil, AC Delco platinum plugs, new cap and rotor).  Stage 2 Clutch (Centerforce dual friction clutch and Ram aluminum flywheel).

    Stage 2 Suspension (Belltech  2” spindles, 1” coils, 3” leafs and street performer shocks; 1.25” front sway bar, Energy Suspension poly bushings, track increased by 6” in the front and 6.5” in the rear, Baer rotors, Hawk pads, and riveted shoes. I have stainless steel lines and DOT 5.1 fluid, just haven’t installed them yet).  1985 17x9.5 BC corvette wheels, Nexen 275/40ZR17 98W tires

    No maintenance records, no receipts, significant amount of chips on the front,  a couple of shopping cart dings, minor oil pan gasket leak, leaky heater core, faulty fuel sending unit, needs a new windshield, small electrical fire forced me to rewire the factory parking/headlight circuit.
