I am selling my project car of 4 1/2 years. I don't want to but
it is time to move on. It is a 1997 ford thunderbird lx with many performance
modifications. Black exterior and dark gray leather interior. Super clean glass like paint with nice clean interior. 113,000
miles on the body and about 3,000 on the engine, supercharger and 4 speed
overdrive 4r70w transmission. B&m holeshot torque converter with 2,800
stall. Overdrive is electronically shut off do to an issue i haven't looked into
yet. I have another 4R70W (AODE) transmission that comes with the purchase of the car. The first 3 gears and reverse work perfect, no slipping what so ever. The
engine is a new ford 4.6L short block stroked to 5.0L with all forged
internals, livernois performance cylinder heads with comp camshafts and
titanium springs. Vortech polished v2 supercharger, all custom cold air intake routing
with a Trick Flow upper elbow and bbk 70mm throttle body, 90mm mass air with a k&n
cone air filter. High flow aeromotive fuel rails and regulator with ford 42lb.
fuel injectors, bbk 290bph high flow fuel pump with a secondary external
vortech fuel pump. Ford mustang cobra water pump with new hoses and belt. Kooks
custom fit 3/4 length 1 5/8" to 3" collector headers to 2 magnaflow
high flow 3" cats to magnaflow x pipe to true dual 3" custom exhaust
to 2 flowmaster mufflers. Nos nitrous oxide system with pressure gauge, bottle
heater, blanket, remote opener, and purge nozzle installed but not plumbed to
intake and never used on new engine. Ford performance 3.73 ring and pinion with Eaton posi
differential. Custom vfn fiberglass 3" gradual slope cowl hood. Supercoupe 16" wheels
with bfg kdws tires in the front and bfg drag radials in the rear. Brand new
front and rear ford blue painted calipers, hardware, ceramic pads, Bear slotted/cross drilled
decela rotors, stainless steel braided brake hoses. Aftermarket Pioneer stereo headunit, speakers, amp and custom fit sub box with 2 10" JL subwoofers. Optima yellow top battery relocated to the trunck with billet hold down kit. Aftermarket
viper alarm with remote start. Custom tuned with superchip software. Autometer
volt gauge behind steering wheel, Autometer oil pressure, boost, and d-pic
gauges on a-pillar. The complete A/C system (compressor, condenser, lines, drier) has been eliminated along with the wiper blades, arms, motor, linkage, bottle for weight. All these parts come with the car as well. She put down about 400hp and 400 torque mildly tuned at
very low boost before the true dual 3" exhaust. Some driveline upgrades to handle the power and you could turn up the boost for an easy 500hp not including nitrous! Don't know 1/4 miles cause i've ever been to the track. These are the basic performance systems. Also, i changed the oil less than a month ago when i took it out for the summer for the first time. I have used royal purple synthetic oil and a mobil 1 oil filter since the new engine was installed. I'm asking $15,000, about half of the value put it. I have invested about $30,000 in the car over the years. Also, i will consider ANY trades plus
