    - D16Y8 block bored over 0.010 mm (non-sleeved) 1.7L

    - .010mm over sized SRP low compression 9.0:1 pistons

    My name is Nate, this is a project that I have worked on for 5 yrs I hope you like it!! This WAS a 2000 Honda Civic VP (Value Package) D16Y7 long block (Non-VTEC) with an A/T Trans.... This is now a fully built USDM D16Y8 long block (V-TEC) and has been converted to a JDM 5 speed manual transmission.

     

    Included with the car all factory parts i.e. hood, front bumper, etc. along with 185-65-14 Firestone Winterforce tires (incredible fun in the snow, traction is unreal with these).

     

    The chassis has 144541 miles, the suspension and block with all components are 43,000 miles old, the head is 25 miles old (as of 6/30/08) . This car has been fully built for a turbo application but unfortunately I am out of time and money for this project. Just a heads up it is fun to drive that’s for sure but it’s not a street sweeper with the low compression and all but with a turbo kit, boosting at 15psi you will be! $7,800 OBO!
