This Subaru is a one of a kind...... I have over $12,000 in aftermarket parts invested into it. It was purchesed in April of 2000 custom ordered directly from Japan provided by Van Bortle Subaru located in Victor NY. This car has recieved the best care for the 8 years that I have owned it and has always been garage kept. I hate to sell it... I have just recently been expiriencing a knock comming from the short block. I have taken the vehicle to 3 different mechanics and we have narrowd the problem down to an engine rod bearing. This problem was casued due to lack of a tunning on the aftermarket ECU. I have therfore reduced the price of the vehicle by $2,300. This is the total estimated cost to purchase a new short block and install it into the vehicle.
