    Ok guys! Here's a rare car for sale!! I have a 2000 Ford Focus Sony Limited Edition Sedan in the STILL UNIQUE color Going' Platinum. The car has about 135,xxx miles on it and I just replaced the tranny due to a blown diff. The tranny that went in the car had 18K miles on it and I also installed a Fadanza Lightweight flywheel and a Centerforce Dual-Friction clutch kit. I love this car, but I lost my job and I cannot afford to keep this car on the road so I'm getting a cheap beater if this sells. The car is located at my grandparents in Cambridge, MD 21613. Just because the car is off the road doesn't mean you can't take a ride in it. Email me if your interested!! If I remember anything that I missed I will update this at the bottom under "UPDATES".

    The Sony Limited Edition in-particular has a 460-watt Sony Xplod sound system with an AM/FM/CD receiver with wireless remote, Sony three-way speakers and 10-inch Sony subwoofer and amplifier in the trunk. My car did not come with the Subwoofer and Amp so I installed my own. My car is a 5 speed (MTX-75) with leather two tone interior and power windows, locks and truck release. The car also has unique "Sony Limited Edition" exterior badging, Xplod-logo (embroidered) floor mats & dash trim.


    Ok, now for the good and not so good!

    The Good:
    New Transmission (18k miles on the new one, and installed at 133,xxx)
    NEW Fadanza Lightweight Flywheel
    NEW CenterForce Dual-Friction Clutch kit
    NEW Throwout bearing and Pilot bearing (clutch kit doesn't provide one with it)
    NEW Upper and Lower radiator hoses (125,xxx)
    All 3 Polyurethane motor mounts
    NEW rear tires
    Oil change just done about 1,000 miles ago, but for your records I would suggest that you do one so you know the mileage yourself and can start your own records.

    Security:
    Viper 791XV Remote Start Alarm system
    Windows are also controlled by Alarm System (Up with alarm Arm and down/vent on demand)

    The Not So Good:
    Needs Rear left ABS sensor, ABS light is on (Fuse is pulled as well, but still good)
    Needs to be tuned for OPTIMUM performance and gas mileage
    Needs front tires (Rear are BRAND NEW)
    Turn signals do not cancel automatically, I don't know why.

    This could be a good or bad thing for whomever interested but it needs to be said.
    The car is equipped with the DEI Viper 791XV Alarm System with Remote Start. There is no need for an ignition because you start the car with the remote start and flick a switch to drive off. If the alarm is triggered during the start sequence or at any time the car is inoperable due to the immobilizer with the alarm system and the PATS system built intothe Ford Focus. If you stall the car at any time you have a S2000 Engine Start button to start the car back up without any problem. I can give you a video of this being done, or you can see it done yourself!!
