  With all the modifications done to this vehicle it averages 20-24 mpg on the highway at 70-80 mph, it performs very well on the road, and is impeccable and unstoppable off-road.

  The engine was replaced with a Jasper"s racing engine at about 76,000 miles, and has been fitted with a custom ignition system complete with custom-built wires, Banks intake system, Optima yellow-top battery, JBA titanium-ceramic headers, Banks Monster cat-back exhaust, Mean Green hi amp alternator, PSC dual transmission coolers, Superchips flashpaq computer programmer, and a scangauge computer display.

  The engine, coupled with its headers and performance ability, generates more heat than in stock form, hence the hood louvre and custom ignition wires. The ignition wires were the only issue with the vehicle until they were replaced with the custom built units that are built to handle higher ambient heat. The only other issue is weather proofing, since it only has a bikini top that covers the seating area, and the rear cargo area is uncovered.
