  For your consideration is a one-and-only, and almost certainly the nicest and coolest Buick Reatta in existence. Reattas are awesome handling, luxurious little two-seaters that people have really liked, but the big complaint through the years has been "underpowered". On this Reatta, that problem was alleviated! It has been fitted with a 2006 Cadillac Northstar engine which came out of an STS with 15k miles. The suspension and brakes have also been upgraded to that of a 2006 Buick Lucerne. The car performs like a high-end 2-seater sports car that was produced this way from the factory. The body on this Reatta was re-designed, which is also a first for anyone to do on these cars. This took a great deal of time and effort since there are no mods offered for these cars anywhere. The paint is as nice as you could find.. wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. The interior is in excellent shape, having every option one could imagine. The 16 way power seats are customized to 3 tone leather. The stock steering wheel was replaced by a slightly smaller, sportier wheel which has also been customized to fit the theme of the car. The car has an OEM presence, really feeling like it should have been built this way from the factory.. smooth and refined. A high degree of difficulty went into wiring this engine so that everything works exactly as it should. ABS works, Cruise control works, A/C works!! The factory touchscreen CRT is fully functional and no warnings are given indicating any problems. The factory digital gauges work to show coolant temp, oil pressure, speed, and volts. The car is 7 inches shorter now and the wheelbase is 5/8" wider. The V8 dual exhaust sounds so amazing coming out of a Reatta! Reattas were built on the same chassis as the Cadillac Allante, which received the 1st generation Northstar engine. Those cars are bringing mid-$30"s in excellent shape, so I would expect this car to be worth at least that, especially being a lot sportier, and having the second gen Northstar. To the right person, it could be worth a whole heck of a lot more. I need a quick sale as to work on other projects, so I am looking to break-even monetarily in asking $39,000.
