And a $11,000 engine installed @ "Super-Rupair. NEW (not rebuilt or reman.) Subaru Engine with warranty. Professionally installed by Lead Auto Technician.($6000 in engine parts alone). New Clutch & Flywheel. Engine balanced. I HAVE ALL RECEIPTS: You will be hard pressed to find a similar STi this affordable. New 4.5" thick top-mount intercooler(will flow 450+ HP). $350 5. Entire exhaust system upgraded. Headers, 2.5" tapered uppipe, downpipe(catless), midpipe and 3.5" outlet muffler. $1200+ I put the factory downpipe on for emissions test.  Plus, I have kept the stock CD player, turbo and exhaust system if you decide to trade-it in.

    All-new / NOT REBUILT  Subaru 2.5 liter 4-cam, 16 valve, 2.5L(EJ25) short-block, new ported-heads, cams + all valve-train components+ $1200  for T-Belt, Tensioners, Idler pulleys and Water Pump. New balanced flywheel and clutch.  Total for engine install was $12,300 and the work was done at Super Rupair in Boulder,Colorado. They have a great reputation and are the largest privately owned Subaru repair facility in north america.   I was fortunate enough to have the Lead Auto Technician (ASE-Master Certified and Engine Master Builder/ Certified) installed and built all the engine work.

    When I purchased car, The Front of the car had cosmetic and Rock-Chip / Sand-blasting damage. And, I decided to get it repainted when I broke my headlights and front grill,etc from a low-speed driveway bump. No frame damage, just a lot of expensive factory parts (headlights are $675 each from Subaru and my insurance would only replace OEM parts)professio.nally refinished @ PEARL AUTO BODY. THIS COST $5500+.   YOKOHAMA YK-520 Series 235/45 r 17"s($1200).

    Stock, cloth interior. Very Clean. Some stains on carpet and wear next to clutch pedal / foot rest. It has the triple gauge-pack installed in dash. Plus the COBB AccessPORT II.  Car Toys in Boulder install my stereo and alarm system. Includes: Kenwood KDC-X395 head unit, 1000 watt Kenwood KAC-8105d AMP, Pioneer TS-G1644R 6.5"(front) +Pioneer 4.5" in rear doors.  The trunk has (2) 10 " MTX  8500 + (2) 10" Kenwood subs. For security, Car Toys also installed the alarm system Clifford -Matrix +1. Very Clean / Professional Install , I was happy with it, and I am the most "anal" auto-technician you will meet.

    2/3/2013 update: 95 AMP ALTERNATOR INSTALLED ON : 9/25/2012. Cost was; $175   - lifetime warranty..    I installed new ceramic front brakes$49.95 , new outer tie rod ends (on the front): $24.99 (ea)..  I would recommend a 4-wheel alignment. Even though I was careful and marked location of old links.... Plus,used my micrometer to get correct "installed length". Plus, the very new Yokohama YK-520 - 235/45 R 17"s. I got from a private party in Denver for $450 or so- HE BOUGHT THEM for his WRX, but they are to "FAT" 235/45/r 17 Yokohama YK 520.

     It is easy to get "in trouble" with this car, so be careful and responsible. You WILL LOVE THIS CAR: Just wear your seat-belts - always. And make use of the cruise control on the highway..  It will make 22 psi instantly in 4th gear-on highway.  ALSO: VIP : make sure you pull over before you adjust the COBB AccessPORT II settings.  Example: Changing Real-Time MAPS, or when you get ready for a Data-log or Dyno-Run. THE REAL-TIME DATA FEATURE IS AWESOME- IT CAN MAKE A COMPLETE IDIOT(with e-tuning and Cobb Map Data) into a pretty smart E-TUNER after a while. Just like using the Laptop / Desktop - after a while, it becomes easy to read and change settings.  HAVE FUN : Just try to keep lead-foot on the race track, or local road-race circuits.
