This car started off as a 1993 touring model that was originally Montego Blue, but has had a full color change by a professional bodyshop to 2004 Corvette Medium Spiral Grey Metallic. Engine bay and all jams are painted. I have complete power steering setup, and you can simply bolt it on to make the PS work. AC is all hooked up except the lines, which you can get any AC shop to make for around $150. Heat works.
I bought it as it is right now from Virginia. It drove beautifully all the way to Ohio. All I did after getting the car was making the exhaust quieter by adding two cats and a quieter muffler. It is still loud, but it's just loud enough to enjoy the sound of the engine and not make you go crazy.
The car is street tuned for now and although it drives around pretty well as it is, it can benefit from a dyno tune by a professional tuner. I never got it dyno tuned because I was planning on swapping a different cam than the current one. The current cam is great for making power, but I just prefer something smaller for daily driving. It can be daily driven this way, though, as this car has been my daily driver. It just depends on your preference.
Overall, it's a very nicely built car with no corners cut. Everything on the car works like it came from the factory this way(of course, except the power steering and AC which I talked about above). The engine is built to handle 7500+rpm and 800+hp. I was planning on throwing a 150shot on it, which would put down about 600hp to the wheels. Currently, the power should be about 430rwhp or more. Generally, this setup puts down around 450rwhp but I'm just estimating conservatively as the car has only been street tuned. The engine only has about 1000 miles(just broken in) since the build.
The chassis has 160k on it, which I know that may sound like a lot at first, but you have to rememeber that the engine, transmission, and most parts have under 60k miles at most on them. All of the bushings in the car and the springs and struts and te rear end were also replaced by the previous owner 30k miles ago with factory parts with 30k miles on them. He lived in TX and traveled regularly to arizona so that's why the mileage was higher. Looking at the car, you would never guess the mileage since literally everything but the frame has way less miles on it.The mileage relaly becomes unimportant after you swap out everything with new parts. There is no rust as it has been Texas car all its life, and stayed in Virginia after that getting built. After the build was finished, it was only driven in nice weathers... hell, the wipers didn't even work when I first got the car. It has been in Ohio for only a month, and I never drove it whenever it snowed, which means it's not been driven much due to damn Ohio weather...
The car was checked out by a local guy who was one of the first to do LSx swap into an RX-7. His subframe design was bought by Hinson, who perfected the design and mass produced it. He told me the car was nicely build and he couldn't point out anything wrong with the car.
